Call for Regional Coordinators!
Jan 27, 2026

Are you passionate about this community of practice (CoP)?

We're seeking at least one person in each region to organize local events. Depending on your employer and preferences, this can be on a volunteer, secondment, or part-time employment basis (0.2 to 0.5 FTE).

Although the job description will be co-developed with interested parties in each region, we expect some of the following responsibilities will apply:

  • identifying and applying for funding opportunities;
  • shadowing your Community of Practice Coordinator;
  • planning and attending online meetings: regional meetings, watercooler check-ins, organizing committee meetings, webinars, subject matter working groups;
  • planning and leading in-person events: workshops, field trips, site visits, skill building; and
  • curating and creating communication materials.

Please reach out with any questions or to begin your informal application

Candidates who are enthusiastic about connecting practitioners and collaborating are likely a good fit. We ask all members of the CoP to embody our shared values.

There are lots of ways to get more involved with the CoP, facilitated by the organizing team:

  • organize or join a subject matter working group
  • organize or join a regional group - each of our three northern 'regions' will have a group
  • join the Organizing Team, either as an individual or on behalf of your organization
  • share knowledge in a webinar, conference presentation, or hands-on workshop.

Just reach out, we'd love to hear from you!

If your organization would like to be on the CoP organizing team, please get in touch with one of us through our organizations, or reach out to Mae directly.
